Job Description   About Minnesota Reading Corps Minnesota Reading Corps launched in 2003, serving preschool children in four Head Start agencies. The early results showed the program model was effective. The program quickly expanded to serve children age 3–grade 3 in many increasingly locations throughout Minnesota. Minnesota Reading Corps has grown each year to wilt one of the largest national AmeriCorps program in the country. Since 2003, Minnesota Reading Corps has provided early intervention services to over 125,000 age 3 – grade 3 students. Annually, Minnesota Reading Corps reaches approximately 30,000 students. Program Overview Nearly one in three 3rd graders in Minnesota is lightweight to reach vital levels of literacy. You can help transpiration that. As a Minnesota Reading Corps literacy tutor, you can help transpiration this statistic and the lives of struggling readers.
